The Harmandir Sahib Complex

The Harmandir Sahib, heart of Sikh religion, is also called Golden temple. The temple itself occupies a small island in the centre of the tank, the 'sarovar'.  The complex houses main offices of supreme committee of Temple Management along with the langar (dinning hall) which serves free meals to thousands of pilgrims and visitors every day.
